Open House Tour

***FOR SALE BY OWNER***

Please call Marty at 405-378-2554 or 619-300-1248 to schedule a live tour.

I love our house, but we are moving to Guam! It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a study/office, and is appx 1725 sq ft. Every room in the house has a double-paned window and blinds to help save energy and $$, the lighting throughout the house is very bright. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and foyer are tiled; leaving the rest carpeted for winter warmth.

It has an open floor plan that allows for entertaining guests easily and comfortably. The living room's 10' ceiling has a large lighted ceiling fan, with remote lighting and reverse direction. The gas fireplace, has a brick hearth, a wooden mantle, and showcase lights to display your decor. The double-door study has a 10' ceiling and plenty of room for my upright piano and office furniture too.

The kitchen pantry is enourmous!! Having the in-kitchen dining area allows you talk with someone in the kitchen or living room with ease, and of course, we all like to eat while watching tv...but now the kids don't have an excuse not to sit at the table! :) There is even has a small (cable ready) under-cabinet TV/DVD player near the corner double sink, with a nice view of the kids playing out back through the corner windows. The kitchen appliances are black and were replaced within the last 2 years. It has a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator/freezer w/ice and water in the door, a 5-burner gas stove, garbage disposal, brand new Whirlpool dishwasher, and an overhead microwave. All of the appliances will stay with an accepted offer, unless agreed otherwise. Yes, that includes the front-load washer and dryer in the separate laundry room. Even that room has a window! :)

The mother-in-law plan allows for Master Bedroom privacy. The raised ceiling creates a romantic atmosphere. Using the remote, you can dim the light on the ceiling fan. The Masterbath has a double vanity, a large frosted glass window with blinds, a whirlpool tub and a separate shower with 2 adjustable shower heads. Hidden inside the masterbath, there is a very large walk-in closet.

The 2 additional bedrooms have ample space and large closets. Both rooms have a ceiling fan with awesome lighting. There are three closets for coat and linen storage.

The house is equipped with a First Alert home alarm, and ADT gives a great discount to monitor it. All windows and doors are electronically secured. The front and back entrances have storm doors. The back storm door has a small built-in doggie door with a lock panel. The finished, 2.5 car garage has attic ladder access. Some of the attic floor is planked to allow additional storage. The garage opener has 2 vehicle remotes, and an exterior keypad. The garage floor has a built-in 8-man storm shelter. One door slides open and the other has a 10,000 pound hydraulic lift to remove debris. It is registered with the City of Oklahoma City in case of emergency. Programmable path lighting, carriage lights and a motion sensor on the driveway, keep the exterior well lit at night. The front entrance has a unique landscape and has received compliments from many people, including passers-by.

The backyard is welcoming for kids. The grass covered yard has a very large wooden playground with a slide and swings. It is less than 2 years old, and we just coated it with this year's weather protectant. The aluminum shed allows for storage of lawn tools and toys without the worry of weather damage. The covered patio provides plenty of shade, and a secure play area for sidewalk chalk designs! Those very needed, but ugly, trashcans are hidden on the separate side yard. It has an entrance gate big enough to store your boat or trailer!

The elementary school is only a couple blocks away. The bus stop for the Jr High and High school, are across the street from my house. This school district is one of the OKC metro's best, Moore Public Schools. My teenage daughter has attended the Elementary, Jr High, and now High School. They are wonderful educators. The people in the neighborhood look out for each other, and all the kids are very friendly. There is a neighborhood yahoo group working together to form a Neighborhood Watch Program.

I hope I have been more than thorough descibing my house. Please call me if you have any questions I didn't answer. Thanks,
